I am sure he and ben dont have power. The SE part of Florida got it REALLY nasty. Over on this coast, people wont have power until November the 8th they are predicting.

Clewiston(middle of the state) is 90% levelled... nothing left except a few main solid buildings

The miami area had 90% power loss, and cell phones hardly work since there are so many people using them. About 1 in 10 calls go through.

The ft. lauderdale area (around tomi) was also hit pretty bad with power losses... gimma a second and i'll give some of the SE Floridians a call and see how they are.

Yeah .. her name was WILLLLMAAA ... and it sucked bigtime .. first time since moving here
that I decided to stay, and see what it was like .. first hand .. with my own eyes ..
should video taped it .. I was just too awestruck, sittin in the corner of my couch ..
watching 100mph+ winds .. reak havoc on my condo .. but alas .. no real damage
just about a bucket of water from under the doors .. windows, and I lost my direct TV dish ..
nowhere to be found .. ah well... didnt care for it anyway ...

Yeah .. isnt that amazing .. then I go to my *Raiders Forum* (much like this one)
and I find out that Marlarkey was not happy about us scoring the last TD, and said
we shoulda taken a knee .. jeeez .. then uhhhh .. why the fawk was he calling those time-outs?
We get bitched at for losing .. and we get bitched at for winning .. last time I looked ..
there were 60 min in each game .. besides .. that playoff game we played the *Jills* in
they ran the score up to the tune of 51-3 ... so complain about something else Marlarkey ..

Hahahaa .. glad to hear it man .. but ... I'm baaaaack .. and I miss all you guys and gals

I got a few things to tidy up on .. like fix a couple a leaks and tear out some drywall ..
other then that .. I consider myself *very* fortunate .. it coulda been alot worse ..
as I was sittin here, and saw with my own eyes .. my neighbors roof and screened pool area
litterally disintegrate .. I really dont think it was wise to stay .. but I can now say
that I saw one.. first hand .. with my own eyes .. and I hope I never am stupid enough
to stay again ..

Oh and BTW .. the CB7 made it like a champ ... and thanks for all the *concern*
from my fellow CB7Tuners ...

busted is good, teckert who was in FL, escaped it all, i left a message for ben, his celly was off, those are all of the peeps numbers who I have.

oh yeah, and as Tomi said, the lines for gas in some places were 300 cars long. Obviously they had to have police as fights were breaking out all over. People were pushing their cars through the line since most were already out of gas. All of this in the florida sun.

Not to mention there is quite a bit of looting going on in the hurricane areas. Some areas are under a 24 hour curfew, many just from darkness until morning.
