I have an idea. Why doesn't everyone who comes print out their screen name in big letters on white paper and then we'll attach them all in the same spot on each persons cars. Like they do at some local car shows. And maybe add your real name and mod list on the back or print out your member's ride thread. That way, you know who's car is who's, in person and for photographs. And you don't forget it. If there's gonna be this many people going, I'm not gonna remember anyone's online or real name.
Just a thought of organization. I know when I see some meet pictures online, I say to myself, "who's car is that?"

How much does your wheel/tire combo weigh? Post here!

I'll be there. Might even have the H23A head swap done by then too. Also might be towing the CB7 behind my 28' motorhome...

Ahhh, but I'll have to do the calculations on "hotel room price+gas for F22A1 vs. gas for a Ford 460ciV8"

Very good point. At the Orlando meet we had little nametags which worked pretty good. I think I have a shirt that says "aero" from aeropostale, so I guess I may sport that even though its a garage/oil change shirt

THe only thing we have to remember with this stuff, and actually anything that will be at the meet is that we CANNOT have paper flying around, or trash on the ground. This event is being held at someones job, and even if it wasnt, its not hard to clean up after ourselves..

thanks for looking out for me

but yes the paper is a good idea..maybe under a windshield wiper or something would work

just the screen name from cb7tuner should be enough I would think

I was thinking we can walk down the line and see each car and have the owner there to show it to us all, that way we can get all the info, and some people have mod lists that are longer than most sheets of paper .

The time is coming near....only a few more weeks til the meet. Zip and myself are getting most of the kinks worked out.

As of now we are planning to meet at the NC Zoo (directions and info on page 1 of this thread) at 10-11am.
Chill for a while and give people time to get there.
                  Look at the cars.
Maybe tour the zoo, depending on how many are interested.
Then go for a short 30min. drive (through the country and some highway) to Zip's house where the cook-out will be taking place.

TIPS for Lunch: Bring your own food, Buy over-priced food at the zoo (not worth it), or go back into Asheboro to get something

                  Items to bring:
Chairs for the meet and for the cook-out at Zip's
                  $ for shirts and cook-out
$ for Zoo admission (if interested) Adults:$10 Kids:$6
Anything else that you think you may need.

New info will be posted as it comes along.

cool, would there be any way we could borrow like 2 or 3 trash cans from the zoo? It would be much easier than bringing plastic bags and hauling them around.

Lawn chairs, good thinking, of course sleeping bags/pillows since not many rooms will have only 2 people in them.

A good to bring list if you have them:

                    sunscreen
                    water
                    chairs
                    sleeping bag
                    money
                    walkie talkies
spare parts/tools (just incase, I know my jack helped out last year at the TN meet
                    camera
parts that you might want to get rid of

common sense (no speeding/racing/burnouts on the zoo property) They were nice enough to lend us the space for the meet, so keep the crap out of their facility. If you wanna act stupid, get somewhere out of the park where there is nobody.

there are trash cans in every parking lot already so no worries there.

also your items to bring list was alot better than mine but since most of you are coming from out of town you would naturally think of more than I would since I will only be like 5min from my house when at the zoo.
