Hey, yeah theres alot of places to eat while we wait for the cars to get done. They wont all be done at once most likly 3-5 at a time. If i can get a good number of who is getting there car washed then we can close down Sam's just for CB7 Tunner and we could put CB7 Tunner in the sign. It would be awsome

So are there definite plans for when we'll meet, where we'll meet, etc.? And do we know like exactly what we'll do and where we'll go? Are we just chillin' in a parking lot, are we cruising? I'll need to know exactly when/where, etc., especially because I'm starting a new job and need to know when so I can try to take off work then.

Right now in talking with Keith, it looks like we'll meet at North Carolina Zoo parking lot in Asheboro, NC on April 22 ...probably around Noon. Then, we will chill there for a bit and eventually head out to Salisbury for CarWash and grab dinner. We'll have a photoshoot somewhere in there. I don't know about the malls question. Look for some through mapquest in Asheboro or Salisbury. The drag strip is available Sunday only last I heard, for those that care to stay that long. Most people probably won't be able to since most of us work Monday and have to head back Sunday morning/early afternoon.

Nothing is final yet, but this hopefully gives you all a good idea.

Yeah it said in the last few pages that they wanted to charge $10 per parking space at the 4 Seasons Mall in Greensboro. I'm not up for that, and other members indicated that they weren't either.

I'd still like to do the drag strip thing as well since my car:
A. Doesn't nescessarily fit in
B. Isn't really much to look at
C. I don't really have a good time slip so far

Appears as though the local tracks down there aren't having a test and tune but I haven't heard whether or not they'd allow us to run or not.

Well I went to the Zoo today to talk to them about using the parking lot. I was asked to call another woman on Monday to set up a time to meet with her.
FYI: I work at the zoo part-time as a Park Ranger and I know most of the people that I will be talking to about this. My boss (the Chief Ranger) understood where we were coming from and that this is non-profit, just gonna be hanging out in the parking lot and taking some pics. She asked could anyone join in this that may come by, I answered yes and told her that there is no set list for the meet and its just anyone who wants to show up.

Should know by sometime next week for sure if this will be the spot, but I have a good feeling about it
