Just updated the numbers. 37 aint a bad number at all. Not to mention I think there are a few people still unlisted that most likely are going, and we can force a few of the maybes to go when the time comes.

My car... fix one thing, break another, dropping my damn alarm pager remote finally caught up with me, gotta get another, but looking forward to the drive up there.

We (Zipcreature and myself) were thinking have everyone line up along the back parking spaces for the pic and make the meet more uniform. Also these spaces were open on x-mas eve so we figure they will be open most anytime of the year if they were that day.

Just Got A Reply From Piedmont Dragway!

Hi,
I got your message and I apologize that I didn't get the first email, sometimes other people read and delete the mail before I get here on Mondays and Tuesdays. Anyway, we do have a test & tune scheduled for Sunday, April 23rd. Gates will open at 12 noon and we will run from 1-4. General admission is $10 and $5 extra to run a car. We would like to have your group come to our track and have a good time and see what we are all about. If I can be of further help please let me know. Thanks for writing.

May 20th – Street Wars (Car Clubs VS Car Clubs)
It is May the 20th, which is a different date, and a little later in the yr. Keith pointed out that is around exams time. I'm still waiting to hear back from another dragway in the area.
Thanks for your patience with this! Let me say that I do not think we are changing the date at all, since we want everyone to be able to come, and switching dates is a bad idea. But for others interested in the VA/TN/SC/NC areas this could be a fun gig!

Man, car clubs vs car clubs...sounds sick, but I won't be able to hang around that long on Sunday, we have to head back before that to make it back so we call can work on Monday.
