Anyone here kno the I-79 South area or where it meets I-77 South, such as rest areas, turn offs, mebbe a side street with a parking lot to wait for others, cuz thats a potential 120 miles of a group of cb7s?
anyone wanna meet in pittsburgh, or south of it???

Driving together in a pack on the trip there is one of the best parts of the meet IMO. We had 12 of us cruising to TN, although MRX and someone else was driving too fast and we never caught up.

i agree wit u on that. especially when u get a ricer that beats 1 guy and then thinks he can beat the rest of the pack. yeah sure 1 car may hav an intake on it, but try the other cb7s wit H22s and turbos.

It was definately fun flying through traffic all the way down there - we even got to drive through some big cities like Louisville where the road opened up to 3 or 4 lanes at times....oh that was amazing.

Anyway I'm lookin forward to the meet...just bumpin the thread.

When we were heading home through ATL (after the stop/go traffic) we were haulin through the 5 or 6 lanes, it was pretty fun.

There was also the fun in the mountains right after leaving Nashville.

On the way there it was pretty funny, we had to merge down to one lane, and I wanted to get behind someone. Think it was Adam(h23accord). There was this geezer in a big boat from Michigan right behind him, and he was SOOO not going to let me in (at about 1mph). So I just stayed next to him, and slowly kept inching closer. We managed to have the both of us in the one lane, then he finally gave up and got behind me. So then I slowed down, and let all the other people in our group get in front of me.

We had that happen too...some guy in a Miata that was actually on the same channel as we were on our 2-way radios raced 'Cisco. 'Cisco's car was atleast lowered, so the guy might have thought something was up. He ended up beating our beloved CB7 tuner member in his lowly Miata, and probably felt pretty good about himself until I rolled up next to him in my completely stock looking CRX and redeemed 'Cisco

To be honest I didn't even think he was racing...but the other members in our group confirmed that he was.

I don't think anybody was issued a ticket for speeding or anything on the trip there or back either....so let's hope for some more good luck this spring.

Nah, we got no tickets. I had no engine mods. In fact, don't you remember David racing me from like a 60mph roll and up, he even beat me. I guess his intake and exhaust helped. Like we both took off and were pretty much side by side, but as we crept up in speed he started to creep away (better topend).
