ok, every time i start my computer the stupid "automatic updates not turned on" thing pops up from the taskbar, how do i turn this off so i dont have to X out of it every time i boot up?

turn on auto updates
well to turn on...goto
1) control panel
2) security center
3)click on autoupdates on the bottom

well, they were off and i dont want auto updates. can i get this to go away with auto updates off?

i think with service pack 2 it is always will prompt you to turn it on...remind me later and ill check further into it....Comment

Start > Run
Type MSConfig <enter>
Go to the startup tab
Find msupdate, and uncheck it. You can also stop other annoying crap from starting here. But MAKE SURE that you know what you are disabling, or else it may be fun turning it back on.Comment
