for some reason when i read "likely racing their Honda cars", i thought they could have put it in a more reasonable way. it makes it sound like every Honda is a threat on the road...

Not to sound heartless or anything, but was the woman just walking into the middle of the street without looking for oncoming traffic, 50-60 isnt warp speed and she could've seen them.

yeah... morons need to take responsibility for their actions. "look before you cross the road bitch" I assume she drives the same way... doesnt look just goes, if so, she got what she deserves because I am sick of those pricks that dont look while im out on my bike.

Exactly what i wanted to say but I stayed PC. I have been told that the best way to get rid of people fucking with you when on a bike is to start kicking their cars. Then agian, that was a grizzled old man who road a loud ass bike.

meh...the news will do anything for a story. i've seen actuall events take place before my eyes, only to see them totally hyped up by "speculation" later on the nightly news. its the way they word things, and the fact that they try to appear unbiased and reporting for the good of the people. in actuallity they are selling thier asses for precious advertising dollars. the more interesting the story, the more people watch/read, the more they charge for ads. the more money they make. its a fact.

Advertising is the single biggest industry in this country. our entire tv/radio/internet/print systems are built around generating ads with more viewers/circulation. without ads TV, internet, newspapers, magazines would all shut down.

in other words, to make it short, they need to juice up stories as much as possible in fear of losing ad revenue.

The problem is that the guys may have been racing. but WTH was she doing in the middle of the street? If they were traveling at 50-60mph she would have heard them coming and not gon out till they had passed. It also says they were doing construction on the road where this happened WTF why was she walking in a construciton zone?

Us honda guys get harassed all the time. i know i get followed and watched DAILY cause i have a honda that is lowered and modded. It is just to try to get us out of the loop. they are using harassment as a way to try to tire us of getting pulled over and all so we will give up on the cars and move on.

yeah and thats stupid coz nissans are the majority of cars which will be found dragging...a lot of hondas are owned by wealthy older people.

this was in orlando...i saw it on the news today...it was a cb7 and a cd5...she flew over the hood of the cb7 and the cd5 was behind and hit that car...racing...i think not. the guy driving the cb7 on the news in an interview said he works right up the street and the other guy said he was goin 50mph and i think it was a 35 zone. they werent racing...it is such b.s.
