worst day of my life

for anyone that cares, my wife found out that our baby's heart stopped beating today and its going to be removed tomorrow. we were really excited about this new addition to our family, but alas, that wont be happening now. neither one of us is taking this very well right now and i think its pretty fucked up that they are making her wait a day, knowing that our dead unborn child is in her stomach, before she can have it removed, all because she had breakfast this morning, and you cant eat before a surgery.
not looking for sympathy, just informing those of you that care.

thanks for the positive words guys, it means a lot. she was 3 months along, and we were really excited about finding out the sex by christmas. we had this plan to get the doctor to put the sex in an envelope and not tell us at the doctors office. then, on christmas morning, we were going to open it up and that would have been a sort of present to ourselves. needless to say, its not gonna happen now. it really just sucks because we had everything planned out around this, and things were looking on the up and up, but alas, we will just have to make due and plan for it in the future. once again, thanks all, and good day good sirs.
