Parent's, just wondering

I was just wondering if it get easier to deal with.. I got a call from my aunt a few days ago saying my dad was shot and killed over a stupid drug deal, have'nt seen or heard from him since I was 10 but it really hurt to find that out.. I almost lost my mom twice in one yrdue to her smoking.. Not looking for sympathy, just wondering if it get easier to deal with..

i used to get depressed cause i never knew my dad, and then i found out even if i did meet him he wouldn't be coherent enough to recognize me, or speak to me. he got injured while drunk, resulting in brain damage. so basically he is dead. i also had like 3 dads, and they all left my mom and me...after the last one left i didn't even cry cause i blocked it all out. eventually holding everything in boiled out, but now today i can deal with it all...oh and my mom is a lesbian as of about 4 years ago. but i just think that's cool.

im sure its hard to deal with man, but just remember, we are here behind you...you always have buddies you can hang with!

i personally get depressed any time anyone close to me dies because i just start thinking about my parents dying some day.. man i get depressed for days.. it sucks..
