i'm really, really excited about this job, it starts out temp but i'm gonna bust my ass and pray to get hired on full time.
as of now the shift is 11am to 7pm...perfect for me cause i'm usually out late and have trouble waking up early. and like 40 hours a week or more depending.
pay starts at $11 an hour.
i'm working for a company that takes shipments from overseas on boats for nordstrom, leatherman, and xerox and some others. basically i use microsoft excel ALOT at work, to keep track of inbound inventory.
also i'm moving out in november with my girl, getting our own apartment so i'm really excited. it was weird, we both had interviews at 2pm...then they both said they would call us back and let us know about the job. later that day the place my girl went called and said she got the job, 10 minutes later the place i went called me and said i got the job. she works at old chicago now, i forgot the name of the place i'm at. old bad thing is it takes a half hour to get there...but someone said there is a quicker way.
