only half of that was sarcastic. most people here do all thier own work . . . personally I go to town fair tire (not sure if they have locations outside of CT) for all my tire and alignment crap . . . havent failed me yet . . . its the only part of the car I dont trust myself with.

only thing i go to a tire shop for is to get tires.

If you ever take your car into some place and you want something specific done, that is all they are suppose to do, nothing more nothing less. And if that job cannot be full filled with out something else needing to be updated/changed for maintainace, then they need to let you know instead of just doing it. They should NOT do anything with out you okaying it first.

thats when you take your car out of that shop.

Thats why i was so pissed. The bolts were stripped so they couldnt put the tire back on so i had no other choice. I do everything on the topside of the car myself, but due to my size and also where i live it is pretty hard to do anything underneath the car for me. Hopefully my Es inserts arrive tommorow and go in without a hitch. Who am i kidding the car is 16 years old of course there will be a hitch but shit thats half the fun.
No longer working on the cb. To much time and money has been put into it. Check my for sale thread where the whole car will be parted out.
