Notice lower-left in front of the skull there are some casings? Those are weevels which eat fur.
I used to be big into fly-fishing and tied alot of my own flies so I always had pelts, fur, chicken 'capes' around. Anyways for several years I didnt tie and when I cleaned the drawer out there were some of these little "grubs" in the squirell and rabbit furs - but nothing as bad as the deer hair! Holly shit they ATE it all. It was amazing how much they could destroy....I'll find pics later.

thats insane, when we were moving some soda fridges like last month, we found this rat with the skin/fur and all that shit but it wasnt like rotting or anything. we didnt smell any odor or funk...weird.Comment
