    Need a little Advice.

    Well as most of you know im trying to trade in my car for a 5-Speed.
    It has to be White or Black, LX trim or better.
    It's been hard trying to find such deal.

    Well it just so happens that my Cousin is looking into
    getting a car. She just got her lisence.
    I told her about getting a CB7 and she loves the Idea.
    But what im thinking is for her to get the 5-Speed Black or White.
    Then i'll trade her mine. Stock of course.

    I spoke to my Dad about it, and now he got me thinking.
    I also spoke to Mike (AccordWarrior) and he said the same thing.
    They both said that its going to be hard finding a CB like mine.
    Not engine wise, because they have good running Engines out there,
    but finding one with
    1.No RUST
    2.Good paint
    3.Overall condition like mine, inside and out

    Now i dont want to part with my CB, i love it.
    But i cant stand the SlushBox.

    What do you guys think i should do?
    Keep searching, Keep the CB as is, or 5-Speed swap...

    5-speed swap, but only if you want that 5-spd really badly!

          Rust = the devil.

          Rust = 3,000 repair.

          Rust > me

          IF you have no rust...swap the 5 speed. It took me 2.5 months to get my car back...and severely lightened my wallet. A 5 speed swap is quicker/easier and you know your car inside and out. Plus it gives you the opportunity to put in a good clutch/flywheel.

                i would swap it to 5-speed , then it gives you a chance to upgrade your clutch at the same time!.

                  i say swap an auto H22
                  if not, then a 5spd. conversion will do just fine. your car is in great condition and would definetely be hard to find another. good luck w/ your decision.

                      this is the key question, its not what you are gonna do with yoru car its how much you are gonna spend. you need to sit down and think long and hard about how much you are gonna put into this bitch for what you want. Remember you can dream all day but when you get the bill guess what... a lot of people swallow and run away! best of luck

                        do whatever is easiest.. it's a pain dealing with new cars and trading and such.

                        just remember.. my white h22 accord is for sale. i'll sell you it for $4,500 so you can use the other money to fly here.

                        NO rust either

                        anyways, good luck.. im sure it'll work out for you.

                          The Lude wheels went to blkhonda1991 for a nice suspension setup

                          Rich, I say you should do the swap. If you get another car, you're right... chances are it won't be in nearly as good condition. When I did my swap, people asked me "why don't you just get a Prelude?". My response was that I wanted to modify MY car, not replace it with something else!

                          It's your car. I say stick with it and swap... sure, it'll be a pain in the balls, but you can do it! And the local guys will probably be down for helping as well! (I'm a bitch to get at a good time, but the other guys have proven to be more than helpful! )

                            I was in the same boat as you but my f22 died and I only had enough for the auto H22. Still fun but if I can go back in time my car would definetly be manual to begin with. Sell the car, get a 5 speed, trust me it will be worth it.
