So your gonna be one of those "_____" that will follow someone like me everywhere I go, just because I have no rear bumper right now, or because they see my car laid out in the parking lot, or think that I want to race every single car on the road? there are a ton of cops out there that give the whole a bunch a bad name. asses who pull you over because you young. but for every asshole cop, there ia really good one, i hope to be one of the good ones.

You usually see the assholes so much more though, because you don't get pulled over for stupid stuff by the cool ones! I know a few really cool cops. One actually pulled me over for having a failed inspection sticker, and he just told me to scrape it off so it woul dbe less noticable... he was the coolest cop ever. The I ran into a douchbag who asked me why I was going so slow... 40 in a 40... "People usually go faster than 40 on this road..."

The asshole cops are usually the ones that were made fun of in high school and think they never got the respect they think they should have gotten.

BTW, I hate alteezas, not 'cause most are illegal.

Asshole cops are one of two people you knew in high school... The ones who got made fun of and want power, or the bullies who want to continue bullying because they don't know anything else...

The good cops are the ones who join the force because they really want to help people... or maybe because police work can be a sweet deal in the right areas...

Well is this good timing or what?!? I just got off work about an hour ago and passed a cop, and guess what, he pulled a u-turn in the middle of the road, waited until I turned onto the highway then turned on the blues. When he finally came up to my window, he said "I pulled you over was for two reasons, your car is too low and you have no bumper cover on." Then I he kept goin on and on about that....so I finally got him convinced that I had stock springs and aftermarket struts, but still he tried telling me that my body kit and the struts made it look low, sayin if my sides, exhaust, gas tanks, bumper, etc. looks like it might hit the ground then its illegal. After about 30 mins. of talking with him, he said he would let me off with a verbal warning, and the said the reason why he pulled me over was because he thought I was someone else.............Ohh well, another cop on my hate list.

I didnt mean that directly towards you, I was referring to the cops around my area, and I was joking with you about you turning into one of those kind of officers. Dont take that the wrong way, I mean no disrespect to you or any other decent cop, I just have had several bad experiences with some authority-abusers.

I'd classify that guy as a cool cop... you had to talk your way out of it, but he still let you go. Although he DID waste your time talking to you... Of course, you are driving around without a bumper cover... I can see how that would draw attention.

yeah, i'd pull you over having no rear bumper if i was a cop. bumpers are really supposed to absorb some impact if you ever get into an accident, you know? so it's sort of a safety feature that every car should have. don't you have your stock rear bumper laying around somewhere until you get the rear aftermarket one finished?

sounds like he wasn't that bad of a cop. i've had one like that pull me over. he told me i was speeding (65 in a 50), which i was. but he told me that i should have my speedometer checked, because of my larger diameter wheels... lol. he told me that i had a clean record, so he let me go free.

Yes I have both of my rear bumper covers layin around, but Im too lazy to put them on, but as you missunderstud, I still have the ACTUAL bumper on, just not the aftermarker fiberglass, or stock urethane COVER. So actually it is legal to ride around as long as you have a bumper on,(as long as the tag is Bolted to it) but the cover is just basically for cosmetic reasons. If you look at some of my pics in my members ride thread you can clearly see the actual bumper. The reason why I dont really respect that cop now, is because the pulled me over for some bs reasons, and then later went on to say that he had mistakenly thought I was someone else and pulled me over.

if you want to ask someone who gets pulled over alot ask h22sparkle . He gets pulled over cause of his car and its not his altezzas or his wing its just the way he drives he drives normal and most cops just want to see what he has on his car cause it moves and looks fast.

oh ok, i see. well - i'd still throw the rear bumper cover on then... just so you don't stand out to them as much. but of course - with having it slammed and kitted up, i guess it's gonna stand out no matter what!

good luck with the cops in the future, hopefully it won't be as bad when you get the kit together... and the paint job.
