Would you rather be blind or deaf?

God forbid you get to a point in your life where you have to choose b/n the two, but which sense would you feel "better off" with?

my apologies if i offend anyone, but im just curious to see how people respond....and no its not a trick question.

i'd rather be deaf... that way i'd still be somewhat independant, but still be able to see and navigate myself around pretty good...

Definitely deaf. I wonder though... with the right drugs would I start having audio hallucinations?? That would be some weird ass shit...

deaf, i couldn't imagine going blind and being in the dark forever..i would rather see the people i love and my friends and the world around me. being deaf you can also get around on your own and do most things without help.

As much as I like music...and music really is life to me...I'd give it up to keep my sight.

But if I was deaf I wouldn't have to hear the annoying paper lady yelling about free Metros every morning at South Station...I swear one of these days I WILL punch her in her big dumb face and she will go down.

Id have to say deaf also.It would suck to lose the ability to see the sun rise and fall.To see my beautiful gf and future kids.At least with deafiness you would have the ability to learn sign language(not saying its easy).No cure for blindness.Just my thoughts.. heh..

Well, this is a obvious choice....of course people would rather choose being deaf. Now, I'm going to twist this up....I rather be born blind then deaf.
