i heard from a friend of mine that the entire california chain is closing down and starting tomm(oct 5th) they are liquidating everything.

are the sales going on stages, or is everything on sale?

They closed some store and now they've merged (or were bought out by) CompUSSR. I know one store in my neighborhood is now a combo store.

Unless there's something new I think you missed the boat on the liquidation sales.
