So, since I decided to decieve my parents for the past 3 months, im not paying for it out the ass. Today my insurance company called and told my parents my license was suspended. Yeah, I wasnt man enough to tell my parents... I was gonna ride it out till the last day of my driving to tell them. BIG FUCKING MISTAKE. Theyre selling MY car, took away the cell phone that *I* fucking paid for, and put me on house arrest for a month (minus school, thats IT). Fuck, looking back I wish I had just told them about the ticket so this shit wouldnt be happening because... I had a LOT of plans for this month im grounded for, especially this friday. Fuck shit whore balls. On the bright side... when I get my license back... I will be coming in with a honda... sweet. After that I will have atleast 8k to dump into it... So yeah, a brightside to my situation. BTW, if you are looking for a MINT CONDITION DSM... come to me . Oh well, I was a lying bitch and im paying for it. /myself

You had it coming to you.. you shouldn't be driving under a suspended license coz it'll just add more to your life if you get caught and it would have made the situation worse.

Sorry to hear about that man, but don't expect people to feel sorry coz it's your own fault. Just learn from it, thats all you can do and keep your head up.

..and a word of advice. You said you're going to have about 8k to dump into a car. Why not save the money for something else such as an apartment, college, or something else down the road? Don't blow all your money on the car so you have no options when the time comes..

Just take what they give you like a man.. don't be a bitch towards them with the internet and be pissy at them. That will just make things last longer.. my parents have found out stuff I did in the past and I just had to deal with it and I treated them the same coz acting different would just make it worse.

my licence is also currently suspended from sept 6th to december 6th. our system here, when you get your licence, you get 4 points for 2 years, and then after that you get the rest to total 15......well i lost my 4.....i speeding ticket over a year ago cost me 3, i should have just contested to kill time, would have taken a year to go to court anyway! then i got one for running a red light making a left turn in my parents minivan (this was this winter before i got my accord) and i didn't run it, i know for a fact it was still yellow because i was looking at it out the top of my windshield while making the turn. also it was icy, i was either gonna slam and stop in the middle of the busiest street in the city, or just go through it.....how fast could i have been going if i still made the turn in a minivan in slippery conditions? anyway, THAT one i DID contest. then i got a speeding ticket one night for going 73km/h in a 50km/h zone...funny thing...i got passed and then cut off by a taxi, but i get pulled over. smoooth move ex-lax...anyway...that one i should have contest, but i never did anything about it, i never paid it, or anything, so they sent me a reminder...and i still had a chance at that point to make up some story about having sent it in contesting it, but i was in ottawa that weekend (which i had proof of).....but i didn't bother, i don't know why.....and then they sent me a final notice, saying i had to pay or they'd come to my house and start taking shit....so i had no choise to pay it, and then 2 days later i got a notice in the mail giving me a few weeks left...

i'm still driving though.....not much, i do take the bus, i have a buspass...but my parents don't know i still drive a bit. and park the car a few blocks away on a small quiet crescent street away from view...coincidentally, my ex gf's street....(she's prolly thinking i'm trying to harass her or something, what a cutie) so ya.

worst part is, i just got my h22, and i can't help but go cruising and killing it. but i gotta cool it, cause i know i won't last 2 more months if i keep revving everything left and right and racing people on a busy street on a saturday night...big nono, i see cops all the time. like that time my friends and i raced a yellow modena...and he got pulled over.....the guy was actually a real life mafioso, and got shot to death getting the mail in the morning a few months after that......but he was a nice guy!

my parents ARE my insurance brokers...if they found it i was driving, they'd be pissed, and then tell me to stop and make me give them all my sets of keys, but damn my parents are pretty strict, but yours seem to be evil. maybe cause here, it's just so easy to lose 4 points, my parents don't think i'm the anti-christ for losing my licence.

well im not sorry to hear that they blew up on you. its their right to. i dont think that you should seek pity from a board of people who like to play the search game ( im one of the nazis!!) but anyways. itll all blow over. when you live at home with your parents it seems like shit will always smell bad forever but as YOU grow and as they see that then things just subside into a balanced respected relationship.

i would not look at investing all of your money that you get from insurance towards a car. it may sound stupid or ridiculous but go to the community college and take an econ class, business class, or anything to do with finance. invest that money to make things easier in the future.

IRAs and CD accounts as simple investment avenues to explore.. just think..

i dont think you have it that bad...this breaker i know just turned 20 and is still living with his parents. his parents, search his computer, cut off internet @ 11:30 every night, search his room, call his freiend';s to know who they are, wont really let him out of the house and took away all his cell phones and any possible means of communication.
