Busted My Thumb 2day....

well went fishing in the river 2day after work. got a snag on a stump, did not want to lose my jig(kinda expensive). started yankin and knew it would fly back at me if i got it free. so i looked away(didnt wanna lose an eye). the friggin thing broke lose, and nailed my thumb at "full boar". got a .5oz lead weight to the right thumbnail. i started yellin every word i could think of. end result.
1. one shattered thumbnail
2. spilt blood not sure how much.
my thumb will not stop throbbing and is now all black. man i hate these idiotic injuries.

Owieeeeeeee I can relate ...

I had a #3 rebar .. go *thru* my ring finger, on my right hand ... thru the top of my fingernail ..
came out the other side .. this was like 5 months ago .. it hurt like a mooooothhhher man.

Today? It's about 75% healed .. nail grew back better then the Dr. thought it would ..
However, still not a whole lotta feeling in the backside of the finger itself .. as it was smashed flat
as a pancake after the incident ..

Amazing how much it hurts when you get a *nail* smashed .. no? There's a good reason

I think it sucks when you get cut and it really was not worth it. Like when I opened up a box containing some exhaust stuff and the staple got lodged in my finger. Painful to say the least.

A splinter is natures way of saying "hey! Fuck You for turning me into this stupid board! Have a nice day FUCKER! Muhaha!".

When I was about 7 years old I fell on a fishing pier and got a 3" splinter stabbed into my hand. It sucks.
My biggest scar is from something stupid. One day walking in the woods with a machete I threw a rock at a snake with my right hand, hold the machete knife in my right. When I threw the rock my right fore arm was sliced open by the machete knife.
I have a nice scar now.
It was a stupid injury, when it happened I just looked at it for a moment, then walked back into the house and almost went into shock. I was only 14.

Worst pain of my life was getting a finger/nail closed in the jam of a solid oak door .....But, I feel your pain on stupid injures. I crashed on a damn quad 9 months ago and I fucked up my ankle BAD. My shit is in pain everyday and I limp like i'm fuggin cripled. I didin't even want to go riding...

Shit...I havent gotten any of those injuries but I got hit in my wrist by a rock which resulted in fracture. I fractured my patella (knee cap) playing basketball. I also developed achilles tendonitis and a strained arch from playing ball.....having both at the same time hurts like a mutha@#$% becuase you cant walk for shit without extreme pain.

completly tore out my right knee snowboarding,
did a "n doe" on my buddys CR250 and hooked the end of handel bar on my inside leg muscle. tore it 3.75 off the bone.
walking bear foot in woods while camping, got a huge sliver up my right big toe nail. had to soak in ice cold river for a half hour. then step dad had to dig it out witha swiss army knife.
list could go way on and on and on......
what it boils down to,, is if your adventurous in any way at all...
