Get a lawyer man... 15 years of debt to pay it off will be a HELL of a lot better than living with that kind of conviction on your record. Get a GOOD lawyer. You may not be able to get off the charges, but you can probably get your jail time dropped. With any luck, you'll be able to get the charges lowered to something like corrupting a minor.

i dont know about you guys, but i can usually remember shit after i get drunk the next morning, puke or not.

do drunk drivers get off because they got intoxicated? and made a bad choice to drive? i dont think so.

Voluntary intoxication isn't a defense. And it doesn't matter if she wanted it or not... she was under the age of consent so her word means nothing according to the law.

Bad investigators helped OJ a ton, too! Anyway, from what I've read about SD's sex offenses, you can get into some mega-shit. If you would've had sex with her it would've been a class 2 felony, punishable up to 25 years in prison and a $25,000 fine. Class 3 felony is punishable up to 15 years in prison and a $15,000 fine. Like I said before though... I doubt it will carry this heavily. Most likely you'll get some sort of plea-bargain and/or reduced charges... even if you end up serving time, since its your first offense you'll probably serve the minimum 60 days and may be eligible for good time. yeah, I allready told the police everything that happend, to the t.. really discriptive story, and I told the truth... my ex friend mat.. and the girl allready got cought in a lie in their police report.. another girl was at my house that night, and they told the cops that it was jus matt and her.. so it shows they lie..and I have no other past criminal records at all..what im gonna do is jus tell the truth, and be as coopertive as I can be... whatever happends happends I guess.. I dont think im gonna get the 15 years.. because of the fact I didnt have sex with her, and I didnt force her to do ANYTHING, at all... so i dunno, well see...

the first, is that u were intoxicated, when ur intoxicated, u cant think straight and all this shit, its kinda like pleading insanity, that u cant be charged of the charges b/c u r insane. this goes for both of u, she was drunk, and so were u, but u need to get some witnesses that saw u and her being drunk, and she has to fess up also.
