Any one in the Ft Lauderdale area know of an insurnace company that is really really cheap? My dad got mad I got ANOTHER ticket and is taking me off of his and says I won't find another place that I will pay what I'm paying now. I know there is cause my friend was paying $60 or so a month. I just want it so I know that if I get a ticket, I have it in hand. Money's tight right now

Oh yeah, I can't ask my friend, he's in the marines now

$60 a month thats a fuckin godsend they want 316 in my own name and i dont think its for full coverage either

yeah...it was some POS insurance company, but hey, if they give you a card to give to the police when they pull me over...I'm happy!

aswell as how long you had your liscence prior to when you got a ticket.

Well...all my tickets get throw out cause I take them to court. I have insurance through Allstate currently, I pay about $170 for just liability. I'm 19, turning 20 in January.

I know of only one ticket that might be on my record....I got a reckless driving ticket and a speeding ticket a while back...about a year. We took it to court and the judge scratched the reckless and only put the speeding on my record. ( What pissed me off is that a kid right before me was there for drinking and driving and he got off with making a book of news articles on drunken acidents. )

1) check if allstate will give you your own policy at the same rate you have with your dad. pay the money to get good insurance because with liability only if you get into a wreck and hurt someone else then they can sue you personally and thats not good (i'm an agent) just some advice

can't hurt to check. when i was like 18 same thing happend to me sort of. i got to many tickets and state farm was going to cancel my parents policy. my parents talked to the their agent and state farm opted to give me my own policy at the same rate as i had with my parents.(my parents have had insurance with state farm for like 25 years) and didn't affect their policy any more if i got a ticket.
