I took my old Dodge Shadow to about 10 before I changed the oil... I didn't care about that car at all. It's amazing how well it held up with all my beatings!
The CB7 gets changed every 3000 if I can help it. I think I went to 5000 once... and I'm sure I have absolutely no good reason for it... I think I was running Mobil 1 at the time though, so at least I had a little more protection! I usually just take it to the Shell station, where they have a drive-through thing... 2 guys change the oil, check tire pressure, and check/add all fluids. Takes about 10 minutes, I never have to leave the car, and it only costs $28. I know I could do it myself for half that, but it takes about an hour total to do it myself... from setting up to washing up...
