If I just spent 700-800 for a camera I would hate to drop it. And I would be paranoid hence using the neckstrap. I was bored heres an updated picture taken a min ago lol. I was unprepared lol.

Well, I spend 850 for my Canon camera and plus some for the lenses and flash.

Still though when you get it for the first time you are kinda paranoid for those first few times before you get used to it.

oh yea...But instead of putting it around my neck, I wrap it twice around my right wrist...you'll get used to it and won't be so paranoid. Everytime I'm out shooting pictures, I have about 2 grand worth of stuff with me...just no expensive lens yet.

Edit: If you plan to upgrade your lens, as I would advise to do so if your serious about photography, get the sigma EX 24-70 lens. Fast lens, good quality, decently priced. I got mine at sigma4less.com and saved a good little deal as oppose to other places.
