if you have a house you would know but if not let me tell you. Its a emergency auxilary light. Say if your house loses electricity and you have no power and you cant see they light up from the energy thats stored up that it saves while plugged in. It holds power up to 10 days. That shit really came in handy during that blackout awhiles back. Even though to this very day noone knew why. I believe it was the terrorists but noone took it seriously then the towers came down oh joy lol.
