my 93 civic ex coupe gas mileage......

alright for laughs and giggles i figured i would see what i can get for gas mileage out of my 93 civic ex coupe (d16z6)....now i want to see how many miles i get to the tank....i didnt even top it off 4 days ago i put $20 in it and it was fill but i could of put more in....anywho i reset my trip meter when i put gas in it and havent touched it since....right now i have a quarter tank of gas left ......my civic only holds 10 gallons....so far i have drivin 267 miles on $20 and still have 1/4 tank left i will break 300 miles with this car easily.....i have an auto to so when the 5 speed swaps redone ill get even better mileage.....i only have a cai,and exhaust. i drive in the city every day never highway.....so stop and go traffic is a every day thing.....i mean i love this car, i dont care how high gas gets becuase i fill up once a weak and it lasts forever so it seams....i have a quarter tank left and want to see how far into 300 i can go.....ill keep ya updated. by the way i do routine oil changes every 2k i use a s2000 filter and mobile 1 oil......i already did the plugs/wires/fuel filter/air filter/dist cap and rotor/ and more. my oil is clean as hell everytime i check it. anyway im gonna drive until the gas gets on empty and than ill update this.

My inlaws 95 Civic EX sedan gets great mileage. Mileage for Odysseys on the other hand...

I got down to a half tank from going to Taunton and back on Sunday...but I made a stop and filled it up in Wellesley on 128.

3.19...and took 16 dollars just for 5 gallons. Ridicoulous. But at a Cumberland farms I almost crapped myself their price was 3.45 a gallon..i was like holyshit.

Im afraid to see what my truck will pull in for a full tank , I havent touched it in about 3-4 days.

20 gallon tank and @ 2.99 which is the cheapest place here..it would cost 59 dollars.

im gonna break 300 miles soon and still have plenty of gas left....remember i only have a 10 gallon tank were as the accord has a 17 gallon...both of my accords i got 400+ miles off 17 gallons of gas.....ill be close to 400 per tank with only 10 gallons and im talking city driving imagine all highway....300 miles would be 30 mpg with my car so if i can hit 400 miles on one tank thats 40 mpg wich is sick im aiming for 350-375. should be empty withing 2 days. and i didnt even top off my tank it wasnt even on F.

it cost me $40 something to fill coz of the high prices and it's a 14 gallon tank.. so far im almost at the full line and i've driven 132 miles.

i'm assuming i'll get about 350-400 to this tank.

yea as long as your driving a 4 banger your gonna get good mileage unless something mechanicaly wrong with the car.....thats why i love my honda. doesnt cost much to run it and its fun to drive. and u should have a 17 gallon tank not 14 unless honda changed it for the 92-93's....i know the 90-91's have a 17 gallon.


EDIT: 90-93 ACCORDS ALL HAVE 17 GALLONS NOTHING LESS.

it topped off at 14.6 or something.. i can fit a little more (not even noticable) coz of my extended gas line but that doesn't even make a difference really.

not sure how big mine is.. but it always tops off at 14 something i do believe. ive been going very easy on it to conserve on gas.. plus im kinda sick and working mad hours this week so no driving = me happy

yea it tops off at 14.6 but thats becuase on empty you still have 3 gallons or 2. whatever gallons of gas left.....when your gas lights comes on you still have over a gallon of gas.
