Im so sick of seeing peopel giving up on the accord..i understand if you want a new car and everything like...youve modded it..fell in love or w/e..but fewel its time to mvoe on ya kno,....but im so sick of these people selling their cars cuz they are in a mechanical set back..u know wtf your getting into when you mod these cars..we dont have a 2005-2006 model..its a 13-14 year old car...its not gonna run like brand new..unless u take care of it...seriously suck the shit up...h22sparkle can vouch for some of the shit ive been through recently...plus i got stuck wen i went to 6 flags because of a water pump..coolant leeaked everywhere..was stranded...had flat tire on way to school...oil and exhaust leak..wiring problems....SHIT HAPPENS..get over it..if your not willing to go through the worst shit..then tuning is not your hobby..i learned that the 3rd week after i had my car..ive felt like selling my car but i got over it...look at 91accordex or w/e his sn is on here...his motor blew..sure he cried lol..went through the denial and hating honda stage..buit he bounced back...and many other memebres have done it here...im telling this to noobs and vets...if you wanna be a tuner..then expect the worst..your car isnt immaculate..some of you have no heart..some of you get sick of the down time...or your car..and jus ddont take care of it..whichr esults in a failure..which results in you bitching...then you cry and say your selling your car..if you would take care of yourcar then shit wouldnt happen..and with swaps and boost..anything can happen..keep your head up..have the heart to go through w/e for your car..geez

i dont know about that hate honda phase...i love my accord and have had my fair share of crap, i just had to replace a crankshaft seal because it blew open and my oil poured out all over the motor and onto my timing belt and a bunch of other crap...

the only reason why i would give mine up is because it i screwed up on the modification process like i went cheap many of the ways (ie: paint job, camber kits, exhaust, fixing damage from accident)

other than that, ive worked on the car so much...i kinda feel like it is going to break-down at any time.

hmm...people go through this stage many times and its not wrong for these people to think of alternatives, and i know its painful for you to hear this truth, but there MIGHT JUST BE better cars out there, like i said this might be kinda hard to believe too, but there might be better alternatives out there, even if you're your average tuner, there are other better project cars to mod/tune which might provide better results with lot less headaches, so its OK to get fed up and move on from a realm you might live in which you think the CB7 is bread of the elite and nothing else compares to the magnificence of the CB7. Anyone and everyone that knows anything about CB7's and has been into this hobby for longer than a few months can tell you shit is gonna happen...anytime you alter anything from its factory performance specs, its gonna alter results. I personally got out of it because I did reach my point of having to fix dumb shit. I have replaced damn near anything AND everything on my accord...hell, the only real original parts on it anymore are the unibody and interior. I put so much time and effort into my car and being very honest, my car hardly ever "broke down" or left me stranded...i've had to have the car towed twice in 7 years, which is pretty freakin good. I don't have as much time as i did when i was younger to just jump out and wrench and maintain like I did before...times have changed and so have my priorities as far as what I need. I love driving my accord and hence why i still have it and tryin to get it back to prime running condition, but I love my CL since I can depend on it when i want, plus its luxury and its a personal accomplishment to me that I can afford to get better and nicer things since I came up living dirt poor. The accord was an extremely fun toy, its faster, handles better, and more fun to drive than my CL, but for what I need right now, the accord doesn't fit the bill anymore. Maybe if it pans out where I dont sell it and start making even more money, i'll keep it and make it an ultimate weekend warrior, but business before pleasure.

Well as for me you can tell that most of the time i do my own shit but its when other people work on the car shiot becomes more and more complicated its like they dont know wtf they are doin and further fuck up the situation more. Alot of people as why do i wok on my car all the time i tell them jsut because i like what i do and i like fixin up little shit here and there . Not only that everytime i do something to the car it makes me happy. I dont think ill understand any other car besides my cb7 hell iwas gonna get an srt-4 at once sure its new but once you mod it goodbye warrantee and then your fucked. And its a bitch to work on and its heavy im known at the streetraces now and i love it.
