Rant about Warranty Issues

Ok Im fucking pissed..so pissed that I want to hit the head of the manager at this small dealership my gf bought her car.

The whole story goes like this: We have been battling with these asswipes to get our Civic fixed. Currently it has a warranty and as it states : Its 24k miles with a 2 year coverage (which ever comes first). So I took the car in a couple weeks ago to schedule for today.

So this morning I took the car to the shop to have it fixed only to be told that they probably couldn't get to it today. So the tech offered to fix it at 12..he bought the axles and I came back from my house and well the manager had him get to work on this Camry BUT he ended up losing the key lock for the wheels..which resulted in me not getting the fucking car in on time.

I've been battling with this sales or manager about this 50/50 warranty coverage. First it amounted to 132 and some change.

50/50 being that we pay half and they pay half.

Now hes trying to tell me that the Clutch and Axles are not under the drivetrain warranty..and tried charging me for the Clutch (which he said would be around 800 dollars.) And of course because of this fucktard I am now forced to reschedule a convinient time to get the clutch done as well...but since hes just gonna charge me for parts...I dont even know If I'll even go thru with that shit.

The axles came out to 100 but they haven't been installed yet.


I dunno about any of you guys but since when does:

A clutch and axles become wear and tear items..I can understand the timing belt being one but I feel like I'm getting my leg pulled.

Someone enlighten me here?

review your warranty and see for yourself

its simple b, does your warranty list what's excluded or does it list what's included

next time get the mech breakdwn ins from geico....7yrs/100k 250$ ded...excludes tires/breaks/maintenance

You I've noticed that the lower level guys at dealerships are usually pretty cool. For example the two parts guys are about 20's here in Asheboro and so far they have treated me pretty cool. One even gave me free hondabond.

BUT the older fuckers, the ones who run the joint are almost ALWAYS asses and this is true not just for honda dealerships but most business.

Ok, what kind of a dealer is this....Honda? Secondly, what kind of extended warranty do you have, is it Honda, aftermarket, or a non-Honda dealer used car warranty? What are the terms and conditions of it? Extended warranties are usually very specific about what they do and do not cover. This should all be explained in your paperwork when you bought the car.

Small dealership not a Honda one either , non-Honda dealer used car warranty.

Terms and conditions are

2 years 24k mile drivetrain warranty. Except it took them a month to have an alternator and belts replaced. And it took us over a week of that time to get it back.

We've just been having issues with these guys ever since then..and battling out a schedule like yesterday where it was supposed to have been worked on and never did...just pissed me off.
