I have the best trap ever... It catches anything in my house It's a little plastic box with a one way door. Mousey gets in, can't get out till I flip the box over. I caught about 5 of those suckers that way. I couldn't bare to kill em, and I just walk em down the street to the cemetary and let em free.

But I agree... at least if a trap is going to kill, it's best to have it quick and painless like that. Those glue traps are horrible, and poison just makes the mouse search for water (which means a stinky basement if you have one...)

Wow... how is that graphic? MAYBE you could consider it graphic if you totally destroyed the mouse in a blender and then poured it out, but damn he died in a mouse trap! Come on people...

We use the sticky mouse pad, I don't like setting up one of those mouse traps that could take your fangers...

i am not a fan of making animals feel pain. Its just wrong. and that bit about your finger would you rather get stick to a massive sheet of paper and slowly die? i don't want a slow painful death, so i don't wish it on anything else. that is my point.

I wouldn't call snapping a mouse in half painless...

I also had the one way door box which is much cleaner. Thing is, I'm not gonna put that bitch in my car and take him somewhere else. If I let him go around my house, well, he'll come back for more of my expensive cheese. Mice are over populated anyway.

Its a mouse. They are food for pet snakes. OT has anyone ever had to deal with those big nasty rats? Back when I lived in town and was a younger boy we had a haveaheard (sp) trap we would catch large rats in. Now i was pretty young so I may be exagerating a little but they were easly over 12" long!
I once had to kill a raccoon in our garage. He was eating the dog food and could have injured one of the pupies or even on of us when we went to the outside freezer! So I had to dispose of him.
