Gas prices

Were not running out of oil. The problem is that a lot of our refineries are down and so are a lot of pipelines, thanks to lil miss Katrina.

what do you mean we're not running out of oil....in my lifetime, there will not be any oil left persay. better clarify what your stating. I however do agree that Katrina is def. not helping things.

it jumped that much yesterday...and still climbing here in maine......i saw reg for 3.19 in Augusta, then 2.70 going to Augusta( full parking lot mind i say i mean trafficed backed up at least 27 car lengths) I paid sunday 2.50 for gas( 10 cents off on sunday's) for reg....then monday it was up to 2.70 for reg....then tuesday it was up 2.79...then yesterday it was up to 2.99......its still stuck at 2.99 when i filled up ($25 Bucks to fill my tank) this morning before heading off to school....just to warn everyone Gas is gonna be 4 bucks garrenteed before Dec ..just fair warning ....

The reson why it was not the right idea to release the strategic oil reserves, is because the hurricane took out many oil refineries. We have plenty of oil, but just have no where to refine it.

289 is the cheapest for 87 octane it sucks man all my friends drive them stupid triton v8 trucks. dumbasses. People were freaking out here in florida last nigth the gas stations shut down, were overcrowded and ran out of gas. people are freaking out over nothing. the more they buy the higher the price, if we all cut back as much as we cuold and bought as little as gas as possible, the price would drop again, its just supply and demand

i agree......but all i know is that the united states of america will NEVER run out of gas........yes i said never.....i just saw on the news how much we have in our reserve.....its enough to run every car in america for years.......we have plenty of gas....it does help to drive normal and no racing for now. sucks to be a muscle head right now...lol.

The cheapest place in the area I go all the time. Just got outta work and went there its fucking 3.48 a gallon MOBILE accorss the st. is cheaper. God damn this sucks. Im going to fill my tank now before it gets even higher

this because of Supply and Demand curve.....seriously its how the economy is running right now with everything going on....its just a roller coaster ride thats all it is......i'm agreeing with 91accord4door, everyone's flipping out cause of gas price...........just ride the fuckin ride it'll end soon thats how i see it.......if it goes up it goes up fuck it.....if u got a job u can managed 20 bucks to somewhat fill you tank.....cost me 25 today to fill on 2.99 i ant complaining....its gotta drop at somepoint....it wont be able to stay at a high price, just like the stock market.....the higher it goes the more it fails......correct me if i'm wrong

AIMEN BROTHA......thats what im saying maybe its us north eastereners but i feel the same way......why flip out when flipping out wont make a bit of differance....maybe they want somethig to complain about? maybe they like drama? the only thing i hate is all the threads on this same exact subject.....one thread of bitching and being drama queens is fine but posting every time the gas gos up 10 cents is stupid....but hey like i said the mods gotta clean this place up not us so post whore and post whore some more........but crying about prices wont help a damn thing.........but im glad someone see's it my way.
