Anyone getting gas today? I have heard rough estimates that 20-30% of the oil used in the US comes through Louisiana, unfortunately that will be hard to do when its under water. Looks like 4-5 dollars a gallon will be here sooner than we thought, although the hurricane is kinda drifting to the West. Only time will tell though. To all the members in that area, hopefully you are long gone because even my crazy ass wouldnt ride this one out.

In NJ i heard race fuel was around $6 .
Right now im paying around $2.50 - $2.70 for 89 octane.
This sucks, why cant gas go back to like $1.75 the way it used to be...

It wasn't too long ago that the expensive places were breaking $1. When the 76 gas station down the road from me opened, cheap stuff was 76 cents (promotional). Wild stuff. I used to get change back from a $20 I used to fill up my car.

Man! I paid almost $3.50 a gallon for 100 Low Lead in California a couple of weeks ago and the plane we were flying burns 18 gallons an hour. It must be up to around $4-4.10/gal by now. Bankruptcy here I come.
