    1996 First Edition

So every i collected the 1996 First Editions of HotWheels. It took me two years, mainly do to one of them. But anywho there are 12 cars in the series. I payed around 70-80 cents for 11 of them and 40 dollars for the one to complete the set. Well I thought since its coming up to the ten year mark for them to see how the prices are going. Well I sit down and look on the net for a list of values. They base it on colors and wheels etc. Well now to my point with my purchase value being around 50 or so dollars for that damn last one. My 2005 value was 105 dollars. Not bad for letting toys set in a box. I think on ebay i could easily get 150 atleast since its the whole set and in mint condition.

my dad and I used to collect hotwheels like crazy. We've got tons in the original packaging and everything. Last time I checked though, we couldnt even get $1 each on them.

But I think thats becuase the whole Collecting "craze" kind of went out. So maybe it'll come back around, and you'll be able to sell em for even more.

I collected hotwheels for years! Ever since I was young....I have well over a thousand still in the original packaging. Had to quit when I turned 16 and got my first car. All my money went to my CB7!

Well take a look some of them are worth a lot. If one of my cars had black inter. over tan. it would go from 6-10 bucks to 150 dollars for ONE. But i will see what i could pull i know someone out there would pay nicely for them.
