picked up my cousin from work and was cruisin along el camino and this kid in a riced out CRX starts reving at me and he guns it righ tnext to me.

i obviously dont race him because el camino is full of cops (saw one b4 he showed up next to me and saw another when he was cruising in front)
i actually dont even race any more, i never even used to race (maybe once or twice but for shits and giggles) but yea, i dont like beating on my car so i just let him go.

plus, i didnt want to be a bad influence on my cousin who speaks little to no english, getting a ticket is bad and my all might 135 hp sohc engine wouldnt have spanked anyone.

Since it's summer, there are more retarded teenagers who barely got their license and want to dick around the streets. My car looks/sounds like it's somewhat done up (lowered/tinted/intake/exhaust). And they stare me down at red lights revving and asking if I want to race.

And much like wed3k, I don't want to f*ck up my car, cuz it has 217K miles on it. Yea I'll spank his sad Civic rice rocket ass, but is it even worth it anymore? Who are you gonna impress? It's undue stress on my beloved CB7. Also cops have multiplied tenfold in my area (Southern California) and people are getting more and more retarded traffic tickets because there are so many cops out there.

Street racing just isn't worth it. Take it to the track if you want to. At least there, it's a controlled environment.
