    cb7/fire/exhaust

whos cb7 on this forum(no h22) has fire comming from their exaust?
im just curious how this works?
    can any one please explain?
in gt4 when the cars downshift theres flame or (is the real term called backfire?)
    bah wtv
in my car (auto 91 ex-r) when i let go of the gas pedal, and its on second and it de-acellerates, you hear a sound comming from the exaust. i really like that sound.. but if i always think maybe that can cause fire to come out?
    iunno

You need some strong dropped revs to shoot the flames I guess

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

One other easy way...get a sparkplug and a wire..its relatively easy to figure out.

from what i gathered from that thread, its caused by either an exhaust leak, or bad ignition timing.

Hahaha.... yeah. Well Im pretty sure its mostly done on turbocharged cars. Its from unburnt fuel igniting in the exhaust pipe... I think. I know that Fujitsubo makes a kit thatll make your car do it, and Im pretty sure its for turbo cars only. I dont care enough to look for it for you.

I think if your car is making a "noise" when you decelerate, you might have an exhaust leak, fouled plugs, or screwed up timing. You should probably get that looked at.

running rich = excess fuel that needs to be burned = flame out of exhaust

theres more to it and all but eh..

yeah it might sound cool, but unintended back fire... no es bueno...

but h22acb7 is onto something, when its done intentionally, its on a turbo car and called a misfire system.

they have those kits out.. but wat they do is fuck with your air/fuel so extra unburnt gas goes through your exhaust.. with a spark plug in the back to ignite it.. but then again you fuck up your engine even more...

actually autoloc carry's a kit for any car. their called flame throwers their reletively cheap too. and also any car will shoot flames out of the exhaust if you are running it really hard with a straight pipe. (i live near barberville where they do amatuer racing) straight pipe and heavy foot will create flames
                    po crackers need speed too!

i was thinkin bout gettin that kit for my truck b/c my exaust is pretty loud. the kit said the flames would go about 20feet and it was staring at $125. but then they have this kit called smokescreen and you can push a button and smoke comes out of your exaust but that starts at $199.
