I have $28. I need gas, tonight I'm taking my girlfriend out for a movie and dinner, and I'm not sure how I'm going to pay for it

Last night I was wondering if its worth it; anytime we have money its thrown at our cars. Is 'tuning' really that great?
Well yes, I am willing to sacrafice some other things, what about ya'll? Are you willing to say 'nope, sorry i dont have money, i spend it on tires' ? To me, its all just part of being my age, and trying to have something nice (hahah I'm talking about the Accord damn common!)
