im so damn irritated right now, i just need to vent. my block should be done right now, but its barely even started... thankfully to no fault of the builders. my block was going to get built monday night. i go to get my rods and find out that one is scratched... so i had to order a new one from honda. couldnt use one of mine cause the a4's have floating wrist pins necessary for type-s pistons.

so i got over that, and my friends was gonna just put the 3 rods in and wait for the 4th that im picking up tomorrow after work. so he starts putting in all the oil squirter shit and balance shafts... then he opens the package of main bearings. and they dont fuckin fit!!!!!! the fuckin shop sent the wrong ones. apparently the entire main/rod/thrust kit is the exact same for 90-01 accord/prelude... except when you get to 98+, mine being a 2000, and then the main bearings are 5mm wider. SO, now we cant even put the fuckin assembly together cause we dont have bearings to put the crank in with.

so im just sitting on my ass till friday when im getting another bearing set from camp1320.


on a side/happy note, im also awaiting shipment on a 2.5" mild steel piping from kteller. crush bent can goto hell.

That sux.. im in the same boat. I took apart my oil pump assembly last weekend, it looked fine. Put it back together, and it leaked oil. of course... its the crankshaft seal, why the f*** would it be the little gear assembly not being too tight!

Just to replace that seal, gotta drop the downpipe(most pain in the ass), oil pan, oil pickup, timing belt, then the whole assembly, pop that damn thing out, and put it all back together. i took off the center brace thingy and the timing belt covers tonight, so tomorrow after work i can get right into it. My car has under 10k miles on it.... want to just take a wild guess at how many different times i have changed the oil?....

It will be my 8th time tomorrow when I have to drop the pan again. Talk about a waste of oil. Hopefully this will be the final time, thankfully im not running synthetic.

Dont feel so bad i had to wait 3 months before my shit got done my moms threatened to sue them and they got to work real fast. They where being lazy as hell never getting anything done they lied saying parts dont fit and they where sent the wrong parts. They where jsut completely incompetent.
