It's funny... all the metalheads and pseudopunk kids around here shop at Hot Topic. The non-phonies wear either a) normal clothes from stores such as Wal Mart, Target, or anything cheap... or b) thrift store specials (like my highschool wardrobe before I started wearing ties every day!)

I hate when I see something cool in Hot Topic. It cheapens it for me

Yeah, band shirts are dumb unless you get them at a show... they're trophies from the show. If you just wear a shirt because you like the band, you're nothing but a walking billboard.

I know every one has there own opinion on the copany and the clothes but it is really one of the best companys to work for, well it is once you move up in the company and arnt just a sales associate... i know i get a killer discount and all but the clothes are NO WHERE near as expesive as AF....

O well if you like the place im just saying go take advantage of a great deal

Yep, i was a lead when i quit and it was by far the best job ive ever had. The discound kicked ass too (cept for on CD's, they were still cheaper at Best Buy)

I make my own shirts.

I worked for the owners of A + F. I did their gardening when they owned a house in Provincetown. They were cool guys.

Needless to say, I still find it funny that all these frat boys are wearing *** clothes.

I used to shop there all the time given i had a 40% discount cause i was an emp. they still have some cool stuff i just wont shop there to broke, plus i can make anything i want if it comesdown to it
