Anyone in a Band?

Ive never really picked up an instrument I want to learn how to play drums so bad but I feel stupid playing in front of friends..im the type who would want to play alone.

As for guitar, I really listen to Jimi Hendrix alot and I mean alot of his stuff because he is my all time favorite guitarist. And besides Im a lefty so I could learn alot from listening to him .

My best friend picked up a guitar a couple weeks back and has been teaching himself. Id like to do the same but I hear lefty guitars are way to expensive.

I'd be more successful if my self esteem wasnt such a rollercoaster of a ride. And if i spent more time creating music. Lately i just have lost all passion for almost everything in life. Its just one huge circle of shit, the same shit.
