I've been stopped 3 times in the past 3 days

By people wanting to ask about my car. What the Hell? Seriously! All I did was wash it and I've got people coming up to me in parking lots and even had one guy follow me around town until I stopped to ask me about the car. Everybody I talked to I referenced to this site so if there's a sudden influx of ppl from TX, don't be suprised.

Anyway, anybody else had a bunch of people stop to ask and talk about your car in a short period of time?

i never do. My car still looks stock and it sucks. Thursday Im going for some serious exterior mods

You know what it is? it's the red-clears on your car. People in Texas are mezermized by these colors. I noticed that when I lived there. No one has really stopped me asking about my car, but everytime i give a friend a ride or something, they coment on the cleanliness of car (inside and out) I think it's cause I meticulously clean my car all the time. While only some people can appreciate a custom car, everyone loves a clean car.
