Moving outta my parent's house soon, so I can gain control of my own money finally and should be able to rake in dough towards my project. I'm still at same point from when I received the cylinder head back from portwork.

I'll update my All-motor thread accordingly. My next planned mods are to get pistons/rods/rings.

well i think most that care have been following my setup so i'll go with the most recent things. Blew a charge pipe off so i'd been running n/a for the previous 2 days. Fixed it last night...took 4 hours and i think i need medical attention i was bleeding and scratched up so much lol. My manifold is cracking, I need to get that exhaust wrap on with some heat shielding, and my coolant resevior bubbles when the car is off...besides that i'm fine and hope to get some dyno time in soon

coolant resorvoir bubbles? your engine overheating? last time a guy mentioned this, his motor seized up and now i'm working on swapping a running junkyard motor it. bleh (85 F-150...no accord )

won't exhaust wrap just keep the heat in on the manifolds and cause your manifold to crack even more or sooner? maybe you should think of using a different more heat resistant material. or is it cracking at your welds (if u fabricated it)?

No i didn't weld it but it is cracking at the welds. I was gonna end up making my own equal length manifold anyways after i got ahold of a welder. Dropzone performance made this manifold and didn't do a very good job of fabbing it.I wasn't going to wrap the manifold per-se i was gonna make a heatshield for it and the turbo and wrap the downpipe, the dump tube (once i get one on ), and adjacent charge pipes. I wasn't the original owner either it was first used on an h23. I could tell it was a shitty mani when i first got it but u get what u pay for and i'm still happy with my purchase. I simply bought it on ebay and if push comes to shove i'll buy a dsm manifold, an adapter plate, clock the turbo, reflange the downpipe and make the dp bigger at the same time. The bubbling i'm gonna attempt to take care of over the this holiday weekend first with some additives to the coolant then with a diff radiator cap and if that doesn't work i'll have to get a fluidyne or koyo. The stock temp gauge isn't showing any abnormal and i keep a constant eye on it and turn the heat on every now and again. This is why i can't wait to get my datalogging setup tho cause it has a water temp gauge and i can log on a stock cb7 and compare my readings.

umm...i found the problem. The fans aren't coming on at all. I think i melted something down there cause i remember a couple months ago when i saw a wire being melted due to the open wastegates hot gases. I just forgot about it is all. Hopefully i can just redo the wire and the prob will be solved. I remember it was a blue wire. Anyone have any experiences ?

I was RIPPIN' on my F22 during my drive in this morning. God I swear the engine and trans are perfect even after 249k miles. (**knocks on wood**)
