OMG I JUST TALKED TO BISIMOTO!!!!
i got his aim name from somewhere and i can't remember where and it was really him! I like froze up, i had some many questions and couldn't remember my own name when he replied lol.

anyways i managed to find out he's running a carbuerated f22a6 before he had to go to the gym.

i couldn't get ahold of myself to find out what valvetrain compenents he was using but maybe he'll reply. I'll write my questions down next time so i don't forget. If any of you have any questions lemme know and i'll ask him.
        WOOOOOOW

and if you don't know who he is he's the guy pulling low 10's in an un-gutted/un-stripped full roll caged crx with a f22 under the hood

          Sweet dude! Bisi rules!

The whole secret of his power lies in his carburetion tuning though. He's an engineer (biochemical, I think, but still an engineer) so he's all about perfection when it comes to formulas. He's also running those fast times with a CRX transmission, and a car that's almost 1000lbs lighter than a CB7. Still, I'm sure his N/A F22A6 in a CB7 would still get you down the track in the high 12s at least.

wait...the crx tranny bolts up to a f22engine? Did i miss something here lol?

Bisi doesnt keep his AIM name a secret. it can be found on most any web board he uses and his own website, www.bisimoto.com

also, he made an adapter plate to bolt the D series trans to the F series block. his D series trans was already built with some good parts and he didnt have to fab a shifter plate, cables, run hydaulic lines, etc.

he doesnt run the same engine anymore although its still an F series. his F22 was a 90x90 engine with twin 55mm weber dcoe carbs.

                  various vacuum lines

S-AFC 2 ($190 shipped) to be sent on monday

Will do head gasket work next week due to rescheduling with the shop...and are head gaskets supposed to be metal...cause i don't think they're supposed to be like that stock. Need some insight on metal gaskets guys cause i don't think this is a bad thing at all. I know metal gaskets are used on high hp or high boost applications but i'm not sure if its beneficial to my project.

need walbro 255 lph fuel pump, adj. fuel pressure regulator, and various gauges. If you have suggestions please pm me or whatever.

From a quick glance it looks like your missing ecu upgrades like a chip, standalone or piggyback of some sort.

Better safe than sorry, but I think you are spending a lot on parts you don't need Clemson. I want to be a part of the FSAE ... what number am I?

my very first built F22A6 was by Gude..more like garbage. maybe better now, but the motor didn't even last a year. the valvetrain assembly seized up on me and the motor went. i would look into other companies about building up the motor. u can try www.honda-performance.com/

I don't know about the quality of the rest of their products, but I love the cam I have from them. Definitely one of the best purchases I've made for my car.
