    just FSAE related...lol
u choose which number u want and ill add u to the list accordingly
    i love that word..
    ACCORDingly..

    edit
93accordse:my engine bay, which im moderately proud of, havent jumped the H22 bandwagon yet, but thinkin about it. Got a set of headers on the way then i prolly wont do anything else to this engine.

from your member rides profile.. if this is the case and ur jumping onto the H bangwagon u should join the HSHO im sure theyd be happy to have u.. unless u change u mind and plan to truely modify the F series..
like mentioned previously.. we cant just let anyone join..

lol, yeah i forgot about that

honestly i used to think H22 was the way to go for more power, until i did a little homework
The F22 is a great engine, and above all in my mind ACCEPTS BOOST WELL
for me it was/is all about speed
and now that i've realized the turbo potential of my baby, i will def be stickin with her from here on out
i will save my 2500 previously saving for the H22 and use it for my turbo setup
    and install myself
Guys at work are already talkin about it, sayin "don't fuck with him when he gets that turbo in"

also, my AEM CAI is in the mail, and my buddy in va-beach is checkin on new header, (editors note - dont buy Chikara headers EVER, TRUST ME) just so you know

uhm, well i hesitate to do so, but i will take number 2, im guessing no one else will at this point.

    YEAH, F SERIES ACCORD ENTHUSIASTS

cuz i work at the shipyard and have a wife to support

so basically, gonna be a couple monthes before turbo. got the AEM CAI off a guy on my board that just wrecked his cb7 for $30, and my header is NOT rustED but the surface is from exposure, if i can get a good deal on this set i will get them for now

also, because i want to have my engine flossed, planning on going to the NOPI show in Richmond on April 24th with a buncha guys from my board

My plans? High compression (10:1-11:1, im not sure yet) F22B1/F22A VTEC hybrid motor. Fully built top end (valves, springs, retainers, new/reground camshaft w/ more aggressive VTEC lobe port and polish), port matched and ported and polished intake manifold w/ bored out throttle body, full array of bolt-ons (Greddy header, intake, and exhaust, AEM fuel rail, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, cam gear) and fully crytreated and shotpenned H23 AUTOMATIC transmission with adjustable shift points (dont have to worry about missing a shift ever). Goals with this setup? 225+ HP at the wheels. 13.5 or less on the strip. Daily driven. Full A/C, power steering, interior. NO Turbo, NO Bottle.

Oh, and im skipping 16 and going to 17.

cb7deathride thats not a bad setup but i don't think u could get in the 13's with it. Maybe with an aftermarket clutch, flywheel and slicks but i'm not sure if u'd break into the 13's...please advise. Or did u leave out the port and polishing of the head on accident? U said somethin like port matching and polishing the intake mani but i didn't see the word "head" in there...please advise. I wanted to go all motor so i could go around saying "no boost, no bootle, just big balls and throttle" But i ended up getting a good deal with a turbo setup.

and i guess i'll be the first to speak on our young wedge...i respect his plans for one cause he's gonna have a hell of a time head gasket matching because of the h23's bigger bore size. I myself am considering using the h23's ecu but i'm not sure if that counts in the same category as him using the head. So basically i don't really mind as long as he doesn't swap out the block. He's keeping the meat and bones of the f22 so i got no beef with him. So in conclusion wedge has my vote.

Sorry, I forgot to mention the built bottom end (high compression usally means pistons.) No overbore on the cyliders. Yeah, Im getting the crank balanced, counterweighted, and knife edged. Oh, and I wont need to replace the flywheel or clutch, im sticking with a slushbox. The H23 trannys have uber-short gears so that will help with the ET, plus with programmiable shift points Ill never miss a shift. In regards to revving higher? I dont want to. The F's were not ment to rev high. And the head is getting P&P'ed too.
How far along is this project may you ask? Well ive got the head/intake. Just waiting for the tax return before I send it to the machine shop. Im working with a guy right now on a F22 block. I would just use my stock block, but since i drive my car daily, I cant relly afford that much down time, plus it has over 190K on it right now.

torque converter would be nice too

I plan to run a turbo setup maybe 5-6 PSI, I wanted to run more of a 8-10 but i dont want to build up the engine and 5-6 seems good on stock internals without any downsides.
depending on if i can talk mah pops into it.. otherwise il get that muffler turbo sound rofl (Just Joking)

omg i can't wait to find somebody with that thing so i can smack the shit outta them lol. They even sell stick on adhesive mufflers now...STICK ON!!! i damn near vomited when i saw that shit.

oh and xplode, 8 psi is ok as long as the condition of ur motor is up there and has been cared for, i'm gonna be replacing the head gasket and essentials just in case but i could get away with just slapping on the turbo if i wanted

sorry, dint mean to just invite myself. from what i got from this thread you just post what your doing to your ride and you can add the tag. someone needs to start this thread over again
Oh, and thanks by the way. Im still learning about the innermechanics of the automatiK! tranny. I know torque converters are good, but what exactly do they do? benefits? and i was under the impression that the gears for the h23's were shorter that the h22's . i remember reading the gearings for them somewhere on this site awhile ago.

i knew u were getting pistons but i wasn't sure how far u were going with the rest of the block...and as for "high revving i was only talking about 7300rpm or so. WIth your valve train you might be able to get away with close to 8K rpm but i do hear u on that f22's weren't made to rev high
