first off is it just me or are the mods scared to use the ban button? i swear i see stupid posts, bashing, dumb ass rants, yet they dont get banned for half a month at the least!
and another thing this fee your going to charge, i garantee that the cb7 members will think they are equivilant to superman. i know for a fact that that some people will act more stupid then they act right now because they think since they payed they will not be banned.

He is also being dealt with. Quite honestly, to ban Mick would mean we need to ban just about everyone who flamed him. He's an annoyance, but other than that there's not much of a problem. The problem isn't his worthless threads, but the pages of crap posted by other members in response to it.

If we banned all those that really deserved it, we would lose more members than the member fees would cost us.




How's this for an idea... This is not an official suggestion, since I have not talked it over with the other mods (and Steve has final say over us anyway) but here it is:
How about we don't charge fees to the current members? If you get banned, you pay to come back. New members pay.

Just $5 a year, and just to post. Reading is allowed free of charge.

The only catch is that ALL the mods will be cracking down hard. It won't be quite as fair as before. If you seem out of line, you get a warning. 93twodoorLX is my brother in law (well, will be). If he gets out of line, I WILL BAN HIM. I'll ban family, and nobody else is closer to me than that. We can do the 3 strikes thing. I will no longer wonder if I should warn or not. If I think it, it happens. Call someone a ***, warned. Make fun of someone's car, warned. Flame up a stupid thread for no reason, warned. Hell, if you send me a nasty PM for any reason, warned. If you guys want nazis, you'll get nazis.

Yeah I agree with all of this but I can see that my opinion means nothing, and I think I'll be visiting this site alot less in the coming days because I feel that if I'm not contributing any info, I'm just wasting space. I'll probably be reading the site, but not posting as much anymore. Hope everything goes well.

Its kind of rediculous. It'll fend off a ton of people, if you ask me. Putting in a fee just for the sole purpose of "filtering" out members is quite lame.
