True Life : Im a Cb7tuner....

well.. today started out around 9am.. being picked up by marcos (zoomspeed05) to go do some arrans for his mother before we started the install of bagoons suspension (chris) so after bullshitting for a bit we finally ended up at marks house around 12 noon..

chris rolled up and we began the install...



....1 hr flys by and all 4 tokico/H&R combo is installed.. ride height is 2 finger gap in the front and almost 3 in the rear.. looks awesome.. and ride is smooth.. feels almost stock..

after the suspension install.. we drove around to drop off marks brother at his friends house...

afterwards.. we desided to hit up the muffler shop to see how much the going rate was to install a 2 1/2" cat-back on marks car (he only has a muffler right now)

price was decent but the guy couldnt do it today (had alot of cars in line).. so we headed back to marks crib..

chris leaves shortly after...

me and mark get ready to go to church (i was accompanying him) ....

bout 2hrs fly by and were leaving heading towards my house.. some buddies of mark come with us in their G2 integra..
we bullshit around changing lanes and downshifting.. then we get to this area (by the orlando airport.. for u florida ppl)

its a new stretch of road a few miles long that they built so that the planes can pass over from one side to another.. so the actual ROAD is a big L to go around all of that.. pretty badass for racing..

which.. is what we ended up doing did a few roll races then finally desided to stop and go from a dig...

(heres the fun part)

mark revs.. and lets the G2 teggy horn it off..

beep... beep.... be. BAMMM!! we hear from marks car

carlos: aww man.. im not getting home till late...
mark: its gonna be a long night...

so we pop the hood.. and look for the carnage.. immediately we knew it was tranny related.. due to the bleeding of the tranny all over the floor...

ONLY GOD KNOWS HOW.. he did this.. but.. where the VSS mounts to the tranny RIPPED OFF.. and so did the casing that covers what i believe is the final drive.. or differential (half shaft goes into this area)
anyway.. cop shows up.. and gives us half an hour before he tows it.. so we said fuck it.. had the G2 TEGGY PUSH THE CAR HOME ( a good 15-20min drive)


which included stopping at stop lights and so forth.. was t3h fucking awesome..

so once it got there.. me and mark got busy while his boys just bailed.. (bunch of assholes)

about 1hr in we call chris to come over and lend a hand.. (time is 11pm)
chris comes over.. and between us 3 we drop the tranny in about 2hrs and 1/2 to 3..

finally.. tranny was off and kicked aside.. we cleaned up.. and went to inspect the blown to bits tranny..

i EASILY pulled out what i believe is the syncros (pulled out about 4 of em) difference sizes.. 1 of them (small one) was missing a tooth.. and the rest were pretty beat..

i still cant figure out how the hell that happend from a launch.. lol..

2morrow = go to JY pick up tranny and install... woopie!!!

yea dude it sucks
i fuckin blew a hole the size of my foot(12inch) on the tranny
it like something i have ever seen but i did it.

i have taken this as a learning experice and hopefully be on the road 2mmorrow
i will post pics later i fuckin tired

3 hours to drop the tranny though... that's not too bad! I wish I could find a way to drop mine, I have stuff I need to do down there!

YEah that sucks meng! I lost like 7 trannys in my dsm n/a due to differntial fcuk ups! Then I bought my accord and it was good, until one cold ass winter evening, after I decided to replace my clutch soon, I did a big ass burnout whole pair of Ice tires(canada lol) my tranny goes, snap crackle pop, I drove it home listening to a slight whining of the tranny, drove the crap out of it for 1 1/2 months like that until I was on my way home from werk and shifted to second around a corner and plop, I all of the sudden could go around the world with my shifter! Good thing I had another tranny! But it was like -30c up here! But it lasted along time while the dsm trannys always just grenade doesnt matter what you do they just blow up! Anyhow hope you get er back up soon!
