get a serving job if your old enough to in your state cash money every night and good nights you can make like 20+ an hour if your good with a minimum amount of work like 4 to 5 hour shifts you can make like 100 bucks not getting dirty easy work good money
7.25 isnt too bad, i get 8.17 working for the state, which isnt too horrible for a state job. Back when i was dishwashing, i was making 8 an hr, plus tips, so some nights i would make 100-150, which was pretty damn good for 8-9hrs of work.
get some side jobs like fixing cars, painting houses, or fixing computers. Fixing computers can score you like 15 an hour, paintin houses like 12 an hr and fixing cars can range from 10-20 an hr. I help people move, and get paid like 100 bucks for 3 hrs of work.
just gotta find some things on the side and you;ll be fine

Serving is great money. I wish I got into it when I was younger! You have to be at least 18 in places that serve alcohol, but other places (like Friendly's and Denny's) hire at 16 usually. Those places are more quantitiy than quality (30 10% tips on low checks instead of 10 20% tips on high checks) but the money is still there.
I'm a waiter. I work about 30 hours a week, I guess. I managed to go to school full time, pay for 3 Accords (2 are on the road, one is dead and looking to be sold) and get engaged... oh yeah, I own a house too! Yeah, serving tables is a good deal. I don't even work in a good restaurant! I work at Bennigan's, where coupons are the only advertising we do (and we advertise a LOT)
