Im really into this whole karting scene right now and I really want to buy one and tune it up to race at Raceway Park in their league. Anyone know anything about karts ie where to get them/parts/whats good or bad/etc?? Id really appreciate it

I am not a Kart Racer, but I live near Norway Illinois and they ahve a HUGE cart track...

hells yeah about time someone mentioned this i'm a hardcore karter i have a 125cc shifter kart. i mostly race at a place called adams kart track in riverside they run restrictors though so you can only get up to about 80 on this track.
i bought my kart used from adams for about 2,500 bucks, worth every penny *you could find parts at www.adamskarttrack.com go to the pro shop*
