I have a quick quiz for you see if your the top 98 percent or the top 2 percent....how ever you take it

do this in your head no calculators

Take 1000 and add 40 to it. Now add another 1000.
Now add 30. And another 1000.
Now add 20. Now add another 1000. Now add 10.
What is the total?

but im gonna say 3100 unless by "and another 1000" you meant add another 1000 in which case the answer would be 4100

ok this is too funny it is a mind teaser the top 98 of americans or people in the us say 5000 are WRONG......
the 2 percent that say 4100 are CORRECT

do the math how many 1000 are there 4= 4000 correct....then add the 20 30 40 10 and you get thats right 100 so simple math 4000+100=4100

its 4100 - many people get 5000 b/c of the way you are told to add, it's meant to be confusing - and from 4090 you add 10 and for whatever reason your brain says "5000" instead of "4100"
