the only problem i see with his whole plan is the tranny, because he hinges on the fact that the 5th gen v6's were right sided. however, the 5th gen v6's also had an extended front end to accomodate the v6 (check online, you can read how people with a 5th gen v6 have to custom fit bodykits because of the extended clips) so if his measurments are on the assumption that ANY 5th gen will accomodate a right sided tranny then he could run into problems.

eh, interesting indeed, but no posts in almost a month. i wonder if problems got the best of him. im rooting for him on pure originality's sake though.

ok, heres the news...i bought my car 2 years ago for $6000...in those 2 years i have put over $4000 into it keeping it running, replacing shit etc..i havent posted any progress in awhile because my car keeps fucking up. had to put a tranny in it a month ago, and monday my fucking clutch blew out. so fuck it. I am selling this damn car cuz it is draining all my funds. This is really unfortunate cuz i REALLLY wanted to do this swap. i am so pissed at the moment i could kick myself. Sorry guys, i know some of yall wanted to see this done as bad as i did. I am now in the market for an older MR2 or Celica. We will see. I have my eye on this 88 Supercharged MR2 right now, but I have to sell my car first. Sorry.

Oh, and to those who think i was bullshitting, heres a big FU. I wouldnt post such a crazy idea if i didnt think i could do it. yea it would have taken time and some money, but i was ready. Sometime down the road i might buy another accord and try it again. who knows...
