How the hell does a camshaft break by being shipped even if they throw the box around, I would be more worried about the manufacture not testing their products

I agree...for something like a cam to break...either that was a bad cam to begin with...or I don't want to know what happened to the package.

Well thats not necessarily true. I remember Bustedlx saying he witnessed someone drop a crankshaft and it literally shattered in pieces when it hit the ground. They're made for centrifigal balance not to withstand excessive forces.

i'm not sure how the insuracne works but

did u notice it before the guy left, or did u sign and he left cause if u sign there lil computer thingy this means u verifid the package and i think ur screwed if u did, hell maybe i'm just talking out of my ass (probably am) good luck with all of that, that sucks about the cam

well anyways, good luck with replacing it. one thing though. you said it was for a h23, but it looks like a vtec cam to me.

damn sucks once again about that loss but whos to say how it broke maybe another package heavier than the camshaft fell on it and broke it. Or maybe the person you brought it from fucked you because once they get their money its whatever go bye,bye yaknow. I hate the import industry for its fuckup and people who dont know how to properly handle other peoples proptery.(O.P.P).
