im trying to run disk clean up and it opens but then it just does nothing, it says scanning compress old files and i go to the task manager and it says its using 99% of the cpu, anyone have any ideas?

i use to leave my compaq running for hours when i did tha disk clean-up. for some reason it alwayz took mad long.

Prob means your pc is loaded with junk and/or very slow, you could go down to safe mode if you think another program might be interfering with the process
