92 ACCORD with 53K FOR SALE!!!

I just saw it today when I was pulling back into the parking lot at work....a frost white 92 Accord LX 4dr auto with 53K miles! It was traded in at our dealer over the weekend and is just sitting on the back lot waiting for the title to clear (once it does the car will be wholesaled) I took a really good look at it and its in phenominal condition inside and out, completely stock and unmolested....even has the factory floormats! Someone seriously needs to buy this car, it needs to go to a good home to someone who can appreciate it as much as I do. I would buy it but most of my cash is tied up in all these other cars I currentlly own. By the time I can get any of them sold it will be long gone. Anyway, just thought I'd share, its been a long time since I've seen such a clean car that old with such low milage.

nah, our dealer never puts cars this old on the lot, they usually just wholesale them which means you could probably buy it for about $3K.

Micks your not gonna wanna have to drop that amount of cash the dealer wants for the car. The dealer is gonna want atleast 6-7k for that car, because of its condition and because of the miledge.

Its in McKinney (about 20 miles north of Dallas)

And no, it will not be sold for 6 or 7....like I said before, this car is too old for them to sell on the lot, it will most likely be wholesaled and sold at auction, thats where all the old cars go.

oh, oops...guess I was wrong, they actually did clean it up and put it out on the used car lot, the're asking $6K for it. I talked to the used car manager and with my empolyee discount I can have it for a little under $3K. What do you think....should I buy it?

I probably would. But then again im kind of in the market. Still seems like a really good price though..

Its funny that this thread is up, a local dealer got in a 93 EX manual coupe over the weekend. 72k miles. They want $8,995 for that thing. Id love to have the car, but thats just plain rediculous.

That is ridiclous. For a few more hundred dollars, you could get a Integra or a Prelude

Is it something you really want? Can you deal with it being an autobox?

If its that clean, you could drive that and say goodbye to the other two Accords and have a nice DD and save up for that EM1 you've wanted.

OEM floormats rock...I gotta clean put mine back in.

Yeah I think I'm gonna go buy it tomorrow, don't know if I'll keep it since its any auto, but I know I can make some money off it if I sell it. There is also a laurel blue 90 Accord 4dr 5spd with 130K back there too. Not quite as clean as the 92, but I was thinking of nabbing it as well.
