It's already well known you should have uninstalled the accelerator, they already told us and stopped downloads of it for the time being. I made mention of it in an earlier thread. They acknowledged it and say they will work to fix it, it seems most make a bigger deal of it than is necessary.

where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

How many times have I said the Google toolbar is spyware? Everyone always says "oh, my antispyware program says it's bad, but it's not..."

ANY web accelerator does that page-caching thing. That's how they work. With today's high speed connections, we really don't need to surf faster. I don't mind waiting 2.1 seconds for my image-laden page to load!

The way I see it, people can see what I'm doing, saying, etc... Any time they want to. Do you want my credit card number? Go through my mail, or my trash... or check my computer. Want my social security number? Check my college records. It's there. Want my phone number? Easy enough. Birthday, fingerprints, stool sample... yup. Someone who wants information can always get it. The Google toolbar is probably the least of anyone's worries.

^^^ I agree. As if any software installed doesn't do something you don't know about.

Ever wonder why a computer has so many "ports"?

Google isn't a good search engine any ways. the best search engine is Dogpile then yahoo, then Ask jeeves then some no name search engine then google. I never use google. And this just makes me happier about my choices. sorry to all the guys who had that.

I always liked google since they never had any ads flashing in my face sayin "click here for the latest drug on how to get your groove thing on" or some other dumb crap.

I'll use dog pile a little more now that you told me about it. looks like a nice search engine with minimal ads

Google is still my favorite. I never have trouble finding what I need on there! I never tried Dogpile though. I'll give that a shot.

Google CB7 Accord search turned up about 955 hits.

                              Dogpile returned 64.

CB7Tuner was #1 on both searches. Guess a relevance check would solve the debate.

Google only returned a little more than half the images that Dogpile returned.
